Patricia Ann Simmons

Patricia Ann Simmons, 82, passed away February 11, 2015. Born in Akron, she was a Stow resident for over 50 years. A graduate of East High School, she worked as an executive secretary at General Tire and as a secretary for Stow Schools. She worked as assistant race secretary at Northfield Park, and owned and raced Standardbred horses herself. She was an avid ice skater.



Preceded in death by her husband Earl and great-grandson Julian, she is survived by son Steve Leafgren and daughter Sheri Leafgren; grandchildren, Monica, Aaron, and Kerry Merriman, Sylvia Taylor; and great-grandchildren Alana, Kristopher, Olan, and Ava.
