New Franklin — Patrick J. Klein, 59, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 after an incredibly courageous battle with stage lV cancer. 

Pat was born on 31 March 1967 in Akron, Ohio to Jack and Mary Klein. Pat went to Manchester High School and graduated in 1985. He was self employed as a professional painter. Pat loved to go boating on Portage Lakes and fish on the Ohio river. He liked to ride 3 wheelers in the summer and snowmobile in the winter. 

Pat is survived by his brother Jeffrey (Kim), nephew Johnathon Klein and girlfriend Linda Hodgkiss. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary, whom he loved deeply and carried in his heart always. His family finds comfort in knowing he is now reunited with them and free from pain. 

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23,2026 at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312.
