Obituary of Paul E. Baumgardner

Paul E. Baumgardner, 97, died November 19, 2017.

He was born August 14, 1920 in Ghent, OH, Bath Township to Ralph and Hazel (Hancock) Baumgardner. Paulserved his country in the Air Force during WWII, was a member of the Teamsters, Retires Club and had served as a trustee for 6 years. Paul wasa member of Stow Community United Church of Christ and had been active in the Stow Youth Baseball Leagues as a coach and manager for 9 years. He alsoenjoyed fishing and followed the Indians, Browns and Buckeyes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel, who he married December 4, 1943; parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by son, Gary Paul Baumgardner; daughter, Bonnie Faye Johnson; grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda and Ben.

Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday, November 27, 2017 from 3 to 5 pm. Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Tuesday, November 28 at11 am at the Stow Community United Church of Christ, 1567 Pilgrim Dr., Stow 44224. Entombment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
