Paul Anthony
Muklewicz
September 16, 1981 – March 29, 2026
STOW - On Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026, Paul Muklewicz was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was 44. He fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Paul was an unwavering follower of Christ, devoted husband, loving father, treasured son, loyal brother, dedicated teacher, gifted coach, and true friend to many. God’s work through Paul will be remembered and experienced for generations to come.
Paul is preceded in death by his father Anthony Muklewicz. He is survived by his wife Suzy; his children Anna, Joshua, Caleb, Isaiah, Shiloh, and a daughter due in April, along with his mother Karen, sister Emily Pyzik (Chris), parents-in-law Richard and Nancy Wiggers; brothers-in-law Steven Wiggers (Jennifer), Gregory Wiggers (Rhiana), Emanuel Finet (Silvana), and sister-in-law, Katy Lookabaugh (John), along with twenty-three beloved nephews and nieces.
Paul and his family attended Christ Community Chapel in Hudson, Ohio. He taught middle school math at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy where he also coached football, basketball, and baseball, and mentored students for fifteen years. One of his favorite pastimes was watching and rooting for the Tigers, Lions, or any other Michigan sports team. Known for his steady presence and gift of wisdom, he led, taught, coached, and loved with heart, courage, integrity, and joy, all for the glory of God.
During his freshman year at Malone College Paul placed his faith in Christ. Soon afterward he taped a piece of paper to his dorm room wall with the words “Finish Strong with Integrity;” he did. In July 2025, Paul was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer. Paul made it clear that although this was not the path he would have chosen for himself, he trusted in the Lord’s plan and wanted to glorify Christ through it all. Paul let the light of Christ shine brightly in all he did, and God used Paul’s life to pass that light to countless others. Even in his last days, Paul confidently trusted in God’s promise of eternal life in heaven. This hope was evident in his steady smile and gentle disposition, which served as an encouragement to all around him. Paul passed peacefully in the Cleveland Clinic with his wife and family members by his side.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W Streetsboro St., Hudson, OH 44236. Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2026, at Christ Community Chapel.
