Obituary of Penny S. Starcher
SILVER LAKE- Penny S. Starcher died July 11, 2010.
Born in Akron, she was a lifetime area resident and owner of Hope House in Silver Lake, where she cared for elderly and disabled adults. Penny was also a member of the Ohio Residential Care Assoc. and had received prayer and comfort at Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral.
Preceded in death by her husband Alec Starcher, her son Richard B. Sanford and her father George E. Brown, she is survived by her daughter Kimberly Colwell of Tom's River, NJ; son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Susan Sanford of Clinton; grandchildren Christopher Colwell, Cole R. Boyce, Austin J. Sanford, Brady T. Sanford and Reese L. Sanford, mother Juanita Jones of Cuyahoga Falls and aunt Violet Klein and her family.
Friends may call Thursday 5 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where service will be held Friday 1 PM. Burial Greenlawn Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Akron 44333 or to Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral, 2700 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls 44223.
