CUYAHOGA FALLS - Rebecca DiRocco, 76, died March 10, 2026.

Born in Barberton, she was a long-time resident of Cuyahoga Falls. Rebecca had been employed with Akron Children’s Hospital as a supervisor of registration up until her retirement. Born into a military family, Rebecca grew up as the daughter of Army parents.

She adored traveling, and among the many places she visited, San Diego held a special place in her heart. Wherever she went, Rebecca often brought home a small keepsake, adding to her delightful collection of keychains.

While she enjoyed seeing the world, Rebecca was just as happy at home. She created a warm, welcoming space for family and friends. Her kitchen was often the heart of the home, where she shared her love through cooking and bringing people together around the table. Above all else, Rebecca’s greatest joy in life was her family. She adored her children and grandchildren and took immense pride in them.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jobbie and Georgia DiRocco, she is survived by her children, Stacy Croft, Carrie Croft, and Larry Croft, Jr. (Angela); brother, David DiRocco (Tammy); grandchildren, Tessa Babcock (Eric), Courtney Byrd, Samantha Byrd, Jobbie Evans, Mya Croft, and Joshua Croft, as well as eleven great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Rebecca will be held at a later date.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
