Obituary of Richard H. Hackett

Richard Holden Hackett, 63, died February 3, 2018. Born in Jackson, MI, he was a graduate of Western Michigan University. Richard was an avid golfer, assisted on Ski Patrol, was an organ donor and a life long friend to many.

Preceded in death by his parents Richard Lewis and Camilla Gaylord Hackett, daughter Abigail and brother Chris, he is survived by his wife Susan Eileen Bloom, children, Matthew (Becky) and Katie, brother John (Margie) Hackett, grandchildren, Geneva, Liberty and Lily, step-children, Jacqueline Bloom and Jennifer (Schuyler) Koch and step-grandchildren, Owen, Avery and Juliet.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
