STOW- Rita F. Peters, 87, passed away February 1, 2014.
Born in Cleveland, she had been an area resident for over 60 years and a longtime member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. Rita was an accomplished seamstress and an avid baseball fan, but most importantly a loving wife and mother.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert, and sisters Ruth Walson and Margaret Millie, she is survived by daughter Sandra Rich; sons Dave (Dianne) and Raymond; grandchildren Michael Rich and wife Alison, Cara Rich, Carolyn Peters and Robyn Evans and husband Dan; great-grandchildren Emily, Lucas and Michael.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday 3-7 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Thursday 10 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, 44221, Fr. Neil Crosby celebrant. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
