Obituary of Robert W. Cook



Robert W. Cook passed away March 8, 2016. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was an officer of the Northfield VFW Post 6768, a 7 term governor of the Northfield Moose Lodge 2156, and a member of the American Legion Post 449.
After 61 years of marriage he is survived by his wife Darleen (Lund), sons Alan (Donna) and Raymond Cook, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brother David (Glenna) Cook, and brother-in-law Norman (Shirley) Lund. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Florence Cook, in-laws Ralph and Gertrude Lund and his grandson Shane Cook.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH for visitation Monday from 5 to 8 pm. Military service will be conducted at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Toys for Tots at www.toysfortots.org.
