STOW- Robert E. Schlemmer, 83, died January 20, 2013.
Born in Shadyside, OH, he had lived in Stow for 28 years, was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and had retired from A & P as Director of Produce Merchandising in 1979 after 32 years service.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rita; daughter Mary Rummel of Cameron, NC; sons Todd of Sebring, OH and Scott of Stow; grandchildren Justin, Alan and Marcus and great-grandchildren Lily and Blake.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Monday 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Ohio Veterans Home, Treasury, 3416 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870-5598
