Obituary of Robert Eugene Howell

Robert E. Howell, 69, died September 28, 2019.

Bob was born in Celina, OH on September 12, 1950 to the parents of Opal and Louie Howell.In the small town of Mendon, Ohio where Bob grew up, he began to form his amazing legacy.As he grew up, he excelled in school and basketball through lots of hard work and effort.Through that work, Bob earned a basketball scholarship to attend Ohio University. At Ohio University he continued to excel and created memories and long-term friendships that he forever cherished.

After college Bob married his college sweetheart Kathryn Howell of Wooster in 1975. The two newlyweds went on to have two children, Adam and Emily. The Howell's lived and spent many loving years together in Mansfield, OH.Bob continued to carry on his tremendous legacy as a devout husband and father.

Bob truly lived a life of love, joy, and loyalty. He didn't try to spread that to others, it was natural.He made friends with everyone he met, and his sense of humor was contagious. It was the way he lived his amazing life and the legacy he will leave all of us.

Bob is survived by Kathryn Howell; his daughter Emily (Sean) Flaherty; son Adam (Lindsey) Howell; grandchildren Meyah, Dominic and Aurie Howell and brother Dean (Barb) Howell.

Deacon Phil Kamlowsky will conduct service Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 4 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 PM until service time. The family looks forward to sharing together all of the wonderful and joyful memories that you all personally enjoyed with Bob.
