Obituary of Robert David Paugh

STOW - Robert "Peter" Paugh, 60, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018, after a short illness surrounded by his family. Peter was raised in Hudson and was a long time resident of Stow.

He is survived by his wife Barb, son Pete (Aimee), parents Ronald and Marion Paugh, sister Debora (John), step-sons James (Sonia) Wells, Fred (Geri) Wells, Shane (Teresa) Wells, granddaughters Sophia and Alaina, sister-in-law Pat Boyes and step-grandchildren Jim III, Alexa, Chase, Freddy, Cassidy, Stephanie, Zach, Josiah, and Collin.

Peter loved the outdoors, building bonfires and forts with his family. He was an avid reader of J. R. R. Tolkien and could quote scenes from the films. He loved all things medieval and accumulated a large collection of memorabilia. He doted on his large dogs that he adopted and rescued.

Peter's family came first--he looked in on his parents frequently and made sure to call daily. Barb was the love of his life and he loved his extended step-family. He was a "goof-ball" and will always be remembered for his big grin and bright blue eyes.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday, April 24 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A celebration of his life will be conducted by Pastor Jim Case on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Stow Community United Church of Christ, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow 44224. The family has requested, should friends desire, memorials be made to the church.
