Obituary of Robert Henry Sanderfer
STOW - Robert "Sandy" Sanderfer, 86, passed away January 2, 2017.
Born in Akron, Sandy was an area resident most of his life. Sandy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was employed as a Tool & Die Layout Inspector with Ford Motor Company, retiring with 37 years of service. He was a member of Stow Community United Church of Christ and Stow Sunshiners. Sandy also enjoyed gardening, hiking, grilling and family gatherings.
Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Anna; sisters, Betty and Annabelle, Sandy is survived by his children, Kathy, Robert, Candace, Brauna, Dana, Suzanne; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Allan (Margo) Sanderfer; and many other loving family and friends.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct a funeral service Friday, January 6, 2017 at 12 Noon at Stow Community United Church of Christ, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow, Ohio 44224, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Burial Stow Cemetery.
