Obituary of Ronald Wilbur Call

Stow - Ronald W. Call, 79, died January 14, 2018. A son of the late Julia (Wancha) and Ira Robert Tedrick Call, he was born April 30, 1938 in Sharon, OH.

Ronald worked as a machine operator for TRW and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a former member of the Hudson Volunteer Fire Department, Marine Corps League and volunteered for the Hudson Jaycees. He enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting coins, gardening, birds and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jackie (Tomlinson) Call; a daughter Darla (Neal) Hurst; two sons Devin (Tracy) and Damon (Kirston) Call; two sisters Shirley and Kathy; two brothers Bob and Ricky; brother-in-law Walter Tomlinson; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Danny Call; and three sisters Claudia, Nancy and Barb.

Friends may call Thursday January 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Redmon Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Beal will conduct the funeral service at the Hudson United Methodist Church, 2600 Hudson-Aurora Road, Hudson on Friday January 19, at 11:00 AM with calling hours from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
