Roy Christopher, 83, passed away on March 15, 2014.
He was the husband of the late Cynthia (Newton) Christopher. Born in Peabody, MA, he was the son of the late Carlton and Genevieve (Makowiecki) Christopher.
Roy grew up in Staten Island, NY and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He then worked as an underwriter for Allendale Insurance Company (FM Global) in RI before being transferred to Ohio in 1974. Roy enjoyed history, playing golf and watching old movies.
He is survived by his son Carlton Christopher and their dog Gus.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct a service Sunday 3 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 1 PM until service time. Burial will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Green, OH 44685.
