Samuel L. Wolber, 76, passed away October 1, 2018. He was born August 15, 1942 to Samuel and Lenora (Dingman) Wolber, Sr. in Sterling, IL.
Samuel proudly served his country for more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy, which included the Vietnam War. He worked in maintenance for MacTac and later, Western Reserve Academy before retiring. Samuel was an avid fisherman and enjoyed archery, fishing, hunting, photography, painting, and coloring.
He is survived by his daughters Mayumi (Darren) Vaughn and Susana (John II) Walker; and grandchildren Alexander and Cassaundra Vaughn.
Samuel is preceded in death by his wife Hatsue (Osera) Wolber and sister Beverly Faudree.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3 PM, Sunday, October 7th 2018 at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Erin Halbach, Jessica Manajak, and Rhonda Deds-Bush with Harbor Light Hospice for their compassion and care of Samuel. They would also like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the entire staff at Mulberry Gardens for their loving care of Samuel for the last three years.
