Sharon Raye Toppin

STOW - Sharon Toppin, an Army Veteran and retired nurse, formerly of Dorset, Ohio and currently of Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2020 at the Landing of Stow on her 71st birthday.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father Ray "Pete" Toppin and mother Esther (Sowry) Toppin. She is survived by her son Kelly (Lisa) Toppin, granddaughters Emily Toppin and Sarah Toppin, sister Patsy (Douglas) Brenneman, brother Chris (Pam) Toppin, brother Greg (Joann) Toppin, sister Jodie (Jeff) Lawless, and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a giver. She loved and cared for everyone around her. Her passion for helping others was clear throughout her life. Sharon loved her family and was happiest when everyone was together. Her family and friends will miss Sharon's compassionate, loving, and generous personality.

Services will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 designated for Family Promise, a program that Sharon loved and supported.
