Sherry Lee Hopkins

TALLMADGE – Sherry L. Hopkins, 90, died April 9, 2026.

Born in Akron, Sherry was employed with the Hudson Police Department as a dispatcher and in an administrative role for 25 years. She was a devoted member of Victory Life Church, which served as her lifeline and a constant source of strength, comfort, and community throughout her life. Sherry found great joy in the simple things, time spent with her family and involvement in her church were at the heart of who she was. She also had a deep passion for ancestry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dorothy Wolfe, and her eldest son, Douglas Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Donald Hopkins, daughter, Debra Mohan (Terry); her son, Tim Thompson (Karen); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 10:30AM at Victory Life Church 3833 Hudson Dr, Stow OH 44224.
