Stanley
Regan
Mar 14, 1958 — Jun 12, 2026
HUDSON - Stanley “Stan” Regan, 68, of Hudson, Ohio, passed away on June 12, 2026, in Akron, Ohio.
Born on March 14, 1958, in Barberton, Ohio, to William and Susan Regan, Stan lived a life defined by faith, perseverance, and devotion to family.
Family was always at the center of Stan’s life. He loved hearing about the lives of those he cared about and looked forward to the daily conversations that kept him connected to them. Whether celebrating an accomplishment, working through a challenge, or simply checking in, Stan wanted to know how his loved ones were doing. He was proud of his family and rarely missed an opportunity to share stories about them with others.
Throughout his life, Stan faced significant health challenges, yet he met them with determination, faith, and the stubborn persistence that became one of his defining traits. Even during difficult times, his focus remained on caring for others. He was often the first person to offer help, and as his health limited what he could do himself, he took pride in seeing his sons continue that tradition of service and support.
Stan taught those around him the value of honesty, hard work, faith, and putting family first. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, travel, and time spent with family and friends. A talented Mechanical Draftsman, he approached his work with diligence and integrity. He was also deeply proud of his Northern Irish heritage and cherished the relationships his family maintained with relatives “across the pond.”
A longtime member of The Chapel in Akron, Stan relied on his Christian faith through life’s greatest joys and most difficult trials. His faith provided strength, comfort, and hope throughout his life.
Perhaps what many will remember most was his warmth. Stan’s smile seemed to carry into his voice, bringing comfort, encouragement, and reassurance to those around him. His joy for the people he loved was evident in every conversation.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents, William James Regan and Susan (Magill) Regan.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Regan; his sons, Kyle Regan and Brandon Regan; his brother, Will (Marilyn) Regan; his sister, Mary Eisenman; and many extended family members and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Though he will be deeply missed, the faith he lived, the values he taught, and the love he shared will continue to live on through all who knew him.
The family is grateful for your kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, please honor Stanley by sharing a memory, spending time with loved ones, or simply keeping the family in your thoughts and prayers.
