Stuart Lee Knapp Jr

STOW – Stuart Lee Knapp, 69, passed away on June 2, 2026.

Born in Cleveland, Stuart was a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident and longtime member of the Stow community. He dedicated his career to mechanical design before retiring. A faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Stuart found his greatest joy in being a grandfather. He also had a lifelong fascination with model rockets and outer space. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Preceded in death by his parents, Stuart and Marjorie Knapp, and his sister, Sandy Knapp, he is survived by his wife, Diane Knapp; daughters, Deanna Wunderle (Nick), Nicole Middleton (Mike), and Melissa Hawk (Andrew); grandchildren, Lynix, Landyn, Beyla, Jocey, Maddie, Mackenzie, Lexi, and Levi; siblings, Nancy Knapp, Tim Knapp, Tom Knapp (Teresa), and Terry Knapp (Diane); as well as many cousins.

Rev. Felix Cleopas M. Silagan will conduct a service on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 10AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Rd., Stow, OH 44224. Burial will take place at Silver Springs cemetery.
