Susan M. Lehrer

MUNROE FALLS - Susan Marie Lehrer, 72, died April 29, 2020.

Born in Cooperstown, NY to Harold and Effie (Ormseth) McLaughlin, she grew up in Elyria, graduated from Lutheran West High School, attended Baldwin Wallace and was a graduate of the University of Akron.

Susan was an active member of the Lutheran church her entire life, currently a member of St. Stephen (Stow), and sang in the choir on Sundays for 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading and crossword puzzles. She was a loving mom and grandmother and loved attending her sons' and grandsons' sporting events.

Susan had been employed as a health care claims analyst for 30 years. She was a fun-loving person and a pleasure to be around.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David; sons, Mark of Colorado Springs, Greg of Cuyahoga Falls, and Jason and wife, Cara O'Flannigan, of Stow; grandsons, Carson, Austin, James and Luke.

Private services will be held. Should friends desire, contributions in Susan's memory may be made that will be donated to Dementia research, St. Stephen Lutheran Church, and the Arbors at Stow long-term care facility.
