HUDSON - Thomas E. Gale, 66, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 with his wife by his side.
Thomas was born in Vienna, Austria on April 28, 1948. He came to the United States in 1956 and grew up in Bridgeport, CN, which is also where he attended college. He joined the military in 1970 and served six years of active duty as a Ranger with the 82nd Airborne Division. Colonel Gale retired from the Army Reserve in 2000 after 30 years of service.
Tom and his wife lived in Hudson, OH since 2005. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, sailing, and being outdoors.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Christel; daughter, Melissa; son, Marcus; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Allison, and Sophia.
A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday 1 PM at the Redmon Funeral Home where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Interment Markillie Cemetery with military honors by the U.S. Army and American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
