Obituary of Tyler W. Beatty
Tyler W. Beatty, 16, passed away January 21, 2017 after a courageous 12 ½ year journey of multiple medical issues, including a recent diagnosis of leukemia.
Known for his smile, Tyler enjoyed Nemo, SpongeBob, Hot Wheels, pretzels and Saturday nights at Pizza Hut.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Christopher (Cara) Beatty; grandparents, Robert (Pamela) Morton, Alyssa (Frank) Bell, Terri (Mike) Watkins, Bill (Peggy) Beatty; aunt, Amy (Ed) Ostrum; uncle, Ryan Beatty; cousins, Jay and Payton; his cat, Rambo; and many other loving family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Akron Children's Hospital Palliative Care Department, PICU and Floor 6200 for your support and continued love of Tyler.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Rd., Stow for visitation Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM, where Chaplain Karen Ballard will conduct a memorial service Thursday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in the memory of Tyler to Akron Children's Hospital Palliative Care Department or to the family.
