STOW - Vicki Lynn Schratz, age 79, of Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born November 23, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Vicki was the beloved daughter of David Brice and Leota Parmalee Tucker, and the sister of David and Diana Brice.
Vicki devoted many years of her life to teaching, touching countless students with her patience, kindness, and encouragement. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and she shared her love of Christ with everyone around her, offering guidance, compassion, and unwavering support to family, friends, and all who knew her. Known for her warm heart and positive spirit, Vicki had a unique gift for seeing the good in people. She valued her relationships deeply and was always a source of strength and encouragement to everyone around her. Her unconditional love for her family and friends will be remembered forever.
Vicki found joy in life’s simple pleasures - her love for animals, fascination with butterflies, fondness for the color purple, and passion for crafting - all reflections of her vibrant spirit and caring heart.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Schratz; her children, Joseph (Alison) Schratz and Amy (Paul) Schratz, and her cherished grandchildren, Zachary Schratz, Kennedy Schratz, Ava Miller, Jacob Miller, and Leah Miller.
She is also remembered fondly by her dear friends, Linda Murphy, Marion Sullebarger, and Cricket Coven, along with many other relatives and friends whose lives she touched.
Vicki’s life was a beautiful example of faith, kindness, and love. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she inspired and the family who will forever cherish her memory.
