Obituary of Vida Bernice Parrish

Vida "Bernice" Parrish, 75, passed away comfortably on July 3, 2018 among the bustle of her home in Columbiana, Ohio. She was at Peace. She is now with her husband, Bob Parrish, who passed away almost two years ago to the date. In fact, they may be playing Scrabble now.

With a memorable laugh and a quick wit, Bernice always found a way to bring humor to even the toughest situations. Her passion was children. To her family, Bernice will be remembered as a comforting mom who was always willing to listen and a giving grandma who searched for the perfect gift. Her children will carry and pass on those attributes to their own lives.

She is survived by her three children, Cindy Cobb (James) of Deerfield, OH, Tammy Martin (Chuck) of Columbiana, OH, and Mark Parrish (Michelle) of Portland, OR; fourgrandchildren, Charles Martin (Abby), Rebekah Martin, Michael Cobb, and Maayan Parrish; and one great-grandchild, Gadsden Martin.

Visitation Hours will be at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio on Saturday, July 7 from 2-4 PM. A short statement of remembrance will be given at 3 PM.
