Virginia Norton

Virginia L. Norton, 79, passed away June 27, 2010. Born in Delaware, OH, she received her PhD from the University of Akron, and had retired as the reading supervisor for the Mayfield City School District. Virginia also taught at the University of Akron and John Carroll University.



Preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Jean Tunison and brother Eliot Tunison, she is survived by husband, James Brad, daughter Nanette (Peter) Ronis, sons James Chris and Douglas (Victoria), grandchildren; Sam and Ben Ronis, Nichole Fish, great-grandchild Deacon Fish, and sister Nancy Rittenhouse.

Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, where service will be conducted Friday 11 AM. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
