STOW/HUDSON - Wayne E. Zwald, 78, passed away October 23, 2014.
Born in Ridgway, PA, Wayne was an area resident since 1966. Wayne retired from Alltel as a Vice President with over 30 years of service. He was an avid and lifelong golfer at Fox Den Golf Course in Stow, was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran church, Masonic Lodge 154 in Kenton, Ohio and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Preceded in death by his wife Theresa in 2003 and sister, Janice, he is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Zwald; son, James (Alison); grandchildren, Heather (Ben) Beemon, Michael, Michelle, Joseph, Abrielle, Amelia, Katherine; great-grandchildren, Seth, Sebastian, Altair, Lucca, Isaac; sister, Patty of Reno, NV; and brother, Duane (June) of McKean, PA.
A memorial service will be held at Redmon Funeral Home Monday, November 10, 2014 at 12 Noon, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, Ohio 44406. Interment Stow Cemetery.
