STOW - William D. Grubich, 79, died November 7, 2025.
Born in Cleveland, Bill was a resident of Stow since 1974, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and had retired from Millcraft Paper in 2022, after 27 years of service. Bill was the Vice-President of Deltacraft, a paper converting company, in Buffalo, New York, for 17 years.
Bill was a Christian and believed in the Lord. He was a man of prayer. Bill and Jan have attended the Chapel in Akron since 1980. Bill used his love for baseball to teach and coach many young players, including his son, Ben. Bill loved to walk the beach in Tybee Island, Georgia, which was his home away from home. He also loved and cared for his family and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Grace Grubich, and his brother, Michael (Mickey) Grubich, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jan; his sister, Gracie Cross (Willard); his brother, Steve Grubich (Sandy); his daughter, Megan Oyster (Michael); his son, Benjamin Grubich; his grandsons, Luke and Jesse Oyster, and his granddaughter, Kate Oyster, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM, where Mr. Denny Adams will conduct services on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
Burial Hillside Memorial Park.
