Obituary of William E. Stegal

STOW - William "Bill" E. Stegal, 82, passed away suddenly on June 6, 2018.

Born in Akron, Bill was a long-time resident of Hudson and Stow. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a contractor who built many beautiful homes in the area. Bill also had many interests and hobbies including antique cars, SVRA auto racing throughout the country, and restoring Chris-Craft boats.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Penny, Bill is survived by his wife, Beverly Giglio-Stegal; daughters, Kelly Stegal-O'Malley; Kim (Craig) Ciborek, and Amanda Joy (Michael) Klapp; grandchildren, Ben (Jessica), Kaitlyn, Samantha and Jordan Whited; great-grandchildren, Evan and Frank; brother, Richard (Arlene) Stegal; best-friend and dog, Dottie.

The family would like to thank the Cardiac Unit at Summa City Hospital for their compassionate care, and Beverly's best-friend and caregiver, Darlene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pawsibilities, Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Road, Suite 30, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.
