Obituary of William (Bill) P. Stevenson
William (Bill) P. Stevenson 76, died of heart failure on April 24th.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on May 2nd, 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 3545 Amherst Ave NW, Massillon OH 44646.
Bill was born March 16, 1939 In Massillon to Loren and Alberta Stevenson. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Betty. He is survived by his children Anthony (Sherri) Stevenson, Marissa (James) Beck, Wendy (Michael) Lampner, Bill (Nancy) Stevenson, brothers Loren (Ferne), Don (Pauline), Bob (Sandy), sister Sandy (Gary), eight grandchildren, girlfriend Rose Riemenschneider, and many other beloved family members and friends.
As a veteran of the Army, Bill was an expert marksmen and a well-respected rifle range instructor. Bill also loved to travel, fish, golf, camp, boat, and spend time with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare, www.cancercare.org/support_us/tribute.php
