KENT - Carolyn D. Weiss, 96, died November 1, 2023
She was born in Kent on September 26, 1927, to the late Chester and Cecelia Raber.
A lifetime area resident, she retired from Davey Tree after many years of service. Carolyn was an avid fan of the Browns, Cavs, and Indians, and loved to read.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, and daughter, Pamela Jones, as well as siblings, Don (Kay) Raber and Grace (Chuck) Shufelt.
She is survived by her son, Jay (Robin) Weiss; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Jones, Staci Lindsey, and Shannon (David) Verhas, and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Logan Jones, Riley Lindsey, Lincoln and Lily Verhas.
Graveside service will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11 AM, at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
