Catherine "Cathy" Ann Skripac

STOW - Catherine "Cathy" Ann Skripac, 69, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2022. She was born on December 26, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Carl and Anita Walko.

Cathy was a loving and dedicated wife to her husband of 52 years, James "Jim"; loving mother to her children, Jennifer Skripac and Christopher (Connie) Skripac; and proud grandmother of her grandchildren, Paige and Benjamin. She appreciated and loved the time spent with her family and is survived by her brothers, Carl (Peggy) Walko, Steve (Brenda), Tom (Debbie), Matt (Susan), and many, many nieces and nephews.

Cathy retired from the United States Postal Service and worked at the offices in Munroe Falls, Hudson, and Kent. She was a choir member, cantor, and parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hudson. Cathy loved traveling with her daughter, Jennifer, and attending her grandchildren’s dance and sporting events. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, going to theatre productions, and baking her famous apple pies. Some of her most treasured memories were annual vacations to Glen Lake in Michigan with her many generations of extended family members.

Cathy will be greatly missed by her family. She will be remembered for her kindness and making everyone feel loved.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 340 North Main Street, Hudson, OH 44236. Friends may call 4 PM to 7 PM Thursday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224.
