Obituary of Dwite Alan Polos

Dwite Alan Polos, 68, of Munroe Falls passed away September 30, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gus Alan and Mary Janice (Meese) Polos, father-in-law, Art Pittinger, and three grandchildren born into Heaven.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Pat (Pittinger) Polos; daughters, and their families: Suzanne & Mike Gay, Rachel, Daniel, and Emma (on the way), and Christina & Michael Buckwell, Lydia and Luke; mother-in-law, Jeannette (Pamer) Pittinger; siblings: Skip & Deb Polos, Penny Gramley, Mark & Penny Pittinger, Kathi & Richard Hughes, John & Cecelia Pittinger, Mary & Chuck Klawuhn, Sue & Tim Simenc, Therese & Peter Ware, Joan & Tom Khoury, and countless relatives and close friends.

Born in Akron, Ohio on March 4, 1949, he graduated from Coventry High School and the University of Akron.

As a CPA for 41 years, he was a walking encyclopedia of tax and business knowledge. He poured his heart and soul into his accounting practice, Polos & Associates, LLC where clients became dear friends.

He was an avid sports fan; he loved his Cleveland Indians and Cavs. He enjoyed analyzing the game and chatting about his passion with every friend he met.

Most of all, he loved his family. He cherished his wife, Pat, and shared every moment in their lives together surrounding her in love. He was the ideal dad to Suzanne and Tina, and to all their friends. Throughout the years, many of those friends claimed him as their own, and he proudly added them to his family. He was the best Papa to his little ones, as nothing could light up his face more than spending time with his grandkids. He loved to cook and knew his way around the kitchen and grill. He was always willing to share his passion for food, and many wonderful meals were enjoyed at his table. His friendly, heartfelt nature was felt by all those who were blessed to know him.
